I don't know what it's about with Jewish people and Christmas So I talked to my boss Jaquie about it because she is Jewish. She said they don't celebrate Christmas. They celebrate the end of the year with Hanukkah. I think it is a festival with all the candles lit. I have to check it out more with research. Ok so Hanukkah is called the Festival of Lights and Festival of Dedication. That's something about the Holy Temple in the 2nd Century BC. There are nine candles on the special menorah. Eight candles for Hanukkah and meditation. The tall candle which is number nine is just for light. Hanukkah lasts for eight days and it happens around Christmas time. The menorah is yellow and glowing from the temple. Candles make us feel good, like in Manhattan in December, In darkness and snow of nature from Mawu Mother Earth, Like my card of sacred space. Candles make me feel safe and heavenly, Floating in a powerful place in space and time. The message from my candle card says: "Your sacred space is within you now. By visiting a sacred site you connect with the symbols and energy That have been infused with meaning and prayer over the centuries. Don't take these symbols lightly." That means my sacred space is peace and compassion in the heart. I can transform my heart with blessings and peace, Visiting sacred sites, like temples, churches, weddings. Although my family doesn't believe in it we have different realities inside us. Not trying to be mean but I just want to know what's in my Dad's spirit. I want him to be happy at Christmas, even if he doesn't believe religions. I know that people have died in my family, like grandma, granpy and my dog Jasmine. I want to know all the details of my family's religions, about our family trees, About our tree of Christmas, our circles, of the menorah. I want to light the menorah to my family this Christmas, Because it helps of miracles and wonder, it's really good to have prayers answered. I want to be visiting people's religions and faiths, Silent places, silent nights of candles, Of a leap of faith, which means to take a risk and reach to the angels. Not sure if Jewish people believe in angels but I really do. I believe of miracles as well, which are to get over loss and love. My angels are the stars, so bright and glowing up there - A festival of light and grace in the dark cold of a holy night.
